Volunteers can...
- Distribute and hang flyers
- Collect donations in the weeks prior to the event
- Sort donations, set-up, and prepare for the event
- Staff the event
- Clean-up and help transfer leftover donations
Friday: Donation and Preparation Day
On the Friday before the event we do the following:
- Set up tables and clothing racks
- Accept donations
- Hang signs
- Organize games, toys, household items, books, etc
- Light cleaning on donated items as needed
- Sort through clothing, organize, hang and fold...all day

Volunteers needed per shift:
9 am - Noon: 30-40
Noon - 3 pm: 30-40
6 pm - 9 pm: 30-40
Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing suitable for light work.
Saturday, The BIG Day:
On the day of the event we do the following:
- Greet guests with smiles and help
- Hang clothing as hangers become available (we never seem to have enough hangers!)
- Fold clothing on tables, rearrange as necessary
- Keep toy/game/book area tidy
- Maintain the housewares and textiles areas
- Bag/box leftovers, prepare them for transport
- Break down clothes racks, box hangers

12:30 pm - 3:30 pm: 30
Volunteers are encouraged to wear business casual clothing. A name tag will be provided.
